Audi TT 1.8 TFSI to be unveiled in Leipzig
The highly successful Audi TT sport coupe equipped with a 1.8-liter TFSI engine will be officially presented at the 2008 Auto Mobil International show in Leipzig, Germany. The entry-level vehicle will share the floor with recently announced Audi A4 Avant, Q7 V12 TDI, A3 Cabriolet, TTS and Audi TT TDI.

Audi TT 1.8 TFSI
Audi TT 1.8 TFSI, the Stuttgart company is reporting in its press release, will feature the same 160 hp and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) engine we've already seen on the 2007 Seat Altea XL, 2008 Audi A4 and Audi A5. I highly doubt the engine will be adequate to an average TT-owner driver's ambitions but it will nevertheless produce an impressive 6.7 liters per 100 km fuel economy figures, which is something near the 42mpg mark. Well, at least you'll save some oil for future generations.
