Peugeot 207 Gets Its Price

Prices for the new Peugeot 207 mini vehicle will vary from £8995 for a very basic one to an impressive £15,345 for the top of the line trim. What Car? magazine says that the British customers will be able to grab their first 207s on June 8.







The car, the magazine reports, will come in five trims: Urban, S, SE, Sport and GT. They will be equipped with six different engines and the seventh -- a new 1.6-liter 170bhp gasoline engine -- will join them soon. It will power the most energetic --and pricey-- Peugeot 207 GTi trim. As to the more common versions of the car, they may be ordered with a 75bhp 1.4-liter 8-valve, or 1.4- and 1.6-liter 16-valve engines, which are capable to produce up to 90 and 110 horsepower respectively. All these units come with rather ordinary five-speed manual transmissions.
