2008 BMW X6 xDrive50i will start at $63,775
The new family of 2008 BMW X6 sport activity coupes will come to the company's U.S. dealerships before the end of this month, so it seems like the right time to know the vehicles' base pricing. Available soon in two flavors, the top of the line 2008 BMW X6 xDrive50i will start at hefty $63,775 price, which is $9000 more expensive than the 2007 BMW E70 X5 4.8i equipped with the same 4.4-liter V8 engine.
The 'entry-level' 2008 BMW X6 xDrive35d, which is coming with a 300-hp 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine, will be available at a less ground-breaking price of $53,275.
The list of standard equipment includes, but is no limited to, six-speed sport automatic transmission; 19-inch light-alloy wheels; run-flat tires with TPMS; front and side airbags; as well as curtain-type Head Protection system airbags; three-point inertia-reel belts on each seat; crash-activated headrests on front seats; a sports steering wheel with gearshift paddles; chrome surrounds on the windows, and this sort of stuff.
It's still too expensive, though.
