2009 Buick Lucerne will run on E85
Committed to make half of its US production flex-fuel capable by 2012, General Motors keeps introducing new models running on normal gasoline, E85 bioethanol, or any combination of both types of fuel. Next year, 2009 Buick Lucerne will join GM's E85-capable Hummer H2, Chevrolet Silverado and Tahoe, as well as GMC Sierra and Yukon, just to name a few.
In its press release, GM says that the 2009 Buick Lucerne with flex-fuel capability will be offered to consumers as a no-cost option. It will be the first E85-running passenger car in Buick's model lineup.
