Nissan GT-R super coupe: almost ready for a big time
Nissan has just revealed some information about its new GT-R super coupe set to conquer North American and European highways. Looks like the European version of the car, which will have to face strong competition from the Porsche 911 Turbo, Audi R8 and BMW M3, will be a tad superior to the model destined to arrive to Nissan's dealerships in the U.S.
Comparing to the pre-production vehicle, says GT-R chief engineer Kazutoshi Mizuno, who in his interview to CAR magazine, the final version of the U.S.-bound Nissan GT-R will get harder engine mounts, firmer spring rates and a stiffer transaxle mount designed to prevent drive-train components from moving while cornering at extreme degrees. European models will also get new rubber bushes in the steering system and a recalibrated rear-differential.
