Mercedes-Benz SL 63 AMG Limited Edition IWC unveiled
Just like your average higher-end Swiss watch is mostly about the exclusive exterior appointments put around a mass-produced movement caliber, the new special edition Mercedes SL 63 AMG IWC is also almost only about the looks. Limited to only 200 units, the IWC Schaffhausen-styled model sports a standard AMG Performance package, new Kashmir white exterior color and a set of exclusive interior features.
Talking about the interior, it is finished with wonderful Tobago Brown nappa leather with carbon inserts on both the door panels and center console. Of course, there are also AMG sports seats with multicontour and memory functions, heating, an AMG-specific perforation pattern, a special design and AMG badges; black AMG floor-mats with Tobago Brown leather piping; AMG door sills with white illuminated AMG lettering; and the IWC logo on the lid of the center console.
The AMG Performance tuning package includes a smaller-diameter steering wheel; silver-finish aluminum gearshift paddles; 19-inch light alloy double spoke wheels; rear-axle, multi-disc limited-slip differential with a lock factor of 40%; and an AMG Performance chassis equipped with Active Body Control.
The limited edition is more expensive than the base model so Mercedes sweetens the pill with IWC Schaffhausen's Grosser Ingenieur watch. The Mercedes-Benz SL 63 AMG Limited Edition IWC may be ordered now with deliveries starting this November.
