VW Passat CC to compete against Mercedes-Benz CLS?
Volkswagen UK will soon start selling a four-door coupe version of its popular VW Passat family sedan. Being much more affordable than an entry-level Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class, the Passat CC has a good chance of winning consumers' hearts.
The vehicle, VW UK is reporting in its press release, will start at meager £21,040 for the entry-level model equipped with 1.8-liter 160hp TSI engine. The range-topping VW Passat CC with 3.6-liter 300hp V6 engine will be available at more impressive price of £31,120.
For the money, you'll get standard 17-inch Phoenix alloy wheels, 2-zone Climatronic air conditioning system, touchscreen CD stereo system with six-disc autochanger, six-way electrically adjustable sports seats, a multifunction leather steering wheel, six airbags and ESP.
Opting for the more expensive GT trim, you will also get 18-inch Interlagos alloy wheels, silversprint upholstery, tinted windows, front foglights and ACC.
