The new
Volkswagen Touareg tuning kit from
Hofele will suit both
new and
older model of the popular SUV. Although it's definitely a right time to start offering body kits made of lighter materials to help the heavy SUV shed some dead weight, it looks like
Hofele's body kit actually adds extra pounds increasing the vehicle's fuel consumption.
The kit, company reports in its press release, consists of new front bumper, new rear apron with trapezoidal tailpipes, new sides skirts, roof spoiler and removable under ride protection. There is also a flashy 'Power Dome' hood scoop although the engine remains untouched.
The kit may be complemented with new 22-inch Reverso 22 wheels with 295/30 R22 tires and either sport springs or ETS module for the Touareg's air suspension lowering the SUV by 40mm.
