2009 Porsche Cayenne will come at a higher price

Citing growing inflation and weaker dollar, Porsche's decided to increase prices on its 2009 MY Cayenne family of SUVs. Although the very basic 2009 year model will be about 2 per cent more expensive than the 2008 Cayenne, with annual inflation rate between 3.5 and 4 per cent its starting price of $45,495 will be $300 to $350 lower in real dollars. Okay, never mind.



Proportional price increases will also affect the rest of the Cayenne product line. Automotive News says that Porsche Cayenne S and GTS will have its price increased to $60,295 and $71,795, respectively, and the Cayenne Turbo's price will soar to $98,595. The top of the line 2009 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S will sell at a price of $124,495 when it arrives to dealerships in August.
