Renault Plans 250bhp Megane Renaultsport

The new Megane Renaultsport, to be launched in September at Paris Motor Show, will be about 11 per cent more powerful than the current top of the line Megane.

What Car? reports that French automaker plans to supply Renault Megane sports hatchback with about 25 more horsepower than features the current version to give the car some additional advantage against another hot hatchback -- the sporty new 197bhp Clio Renaultsport Mk III, which went on sale this week.

Technical specifications are not yet available but Renault promises to present something extraordinary.
