2009 Nissan Maxima will be more expensive
The 2009 Nissan Maxima family sedan will start at a price of $29,290 for the Maxima 3.5 S base model. Two years ago, the 2007 Nissan Maxima 3.5 SE was available at a mere $28,050. The Maxima 3.5 SV with a sports package will be even more expensive starting at $31,990.
The 2009 Maxima is built around the same D platform, which is already shared between the 2009 Nissan Murano and the new Altima. Its base 3.5-liter V6 engine produces 290hp and 261lb-ft of torque, which is more than adequate for the vehicle of this class.
The car also features xenon headlights and LED taillights, Xtronic CVT transmission with paddle-shifters, a choice of 18-inch or 19-inch wheels, dual panel moonroof, heated seats and mirrors and this sort of things. One of extra packages even includes an HDD-based navi and a rearview monitor.
