2008 Citroen C4 gets new engines
After four years on the assembly line, and sales approaching to 1,000,000 units, the French Citroen C4 has finally received a facelift treatment. Apart from slight changes to the vehicle's interior and exterior, the refreshed C4 also got a pair of new 1.6-liter petrol engines co-developed with BMW.

Although sporting the same displacement, the powerplants will feature different power output. The normally aspirated 1.6 VTI engine with Variable Valve Lift and Timing Injection technologies will produce only 120hp, while the turbocharged 1.6 THP engine will have a max power output of more impressive 150hp.

Inside, the 2008 Citroen C4 features new velour or leather upholstery, as well as new MyWay navigation system with a 7-inch color screen, Bluetooth and USB connectivity and an HDD-based stereo with a 10GB hard drive. It's not clear, whether the tiny HDD will be used to store the GPS data, multimedia content or both.

The car will also receive new body colors, new alloy wheels and a more aggressive front bumper with that trendy "gaping mouth" air vent.
