Bertone BAT 11 concept may go into limited production

Talking to the Detroit Free Press, Bertone's business development director Roland Martin suggested that the financially struggling Italian design company may build 25 to 50 running versions of the exotic-looking BAT 11 concept car that was a huge success at the 2008 Geneva auto show last March.



According to Mr. Martin, this time Bertone won't bet its future on "speculations" and will only start producing the car if there are enough customers willing to buy the exotic coupe.

Based on the hot Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione supercar, the BAT 11 will surely be damn fast one. I'm afraid it will be pricey, too.
