Audi RS6 Sedan prematurely revealed
So, the famous Audi RS6 Avant sports wagon will soon have a little brother. The 2009 Audi RS6 Sedan will rev its mighty 580hp / 650Nm (480 lb-ft), 5.0-liter Twin-Turbo V10 FSI engine at the upcoming Paris Motor Show this October.
The new sports sedan will take only 4.5 seconds to jump from zero to 62mph mark, which is 0.1 better than the RS6 Avant can do. Its top speed is limited at 155mph (250km/h) but that can also be raised to more impressive 174mph (280km/h).
Additional driving comfort will be provided courtesy of DRC, which reduces pitch and roll using purely mechanical means. Just as usual, the DRC offers a choice of three damper settings – sport, dynamic and comfort. The car sits on a set of standard 19-inch alloy wheels fit with 255/40 tires and providing some room for the 390 millimeter brake disks with six-piston fixed aluminum calipers – painted black and decorated with RS badges.
The Audi RS6 sedan will go on sale in mid-October and in Germany will have a starting price of €105,550 including 19% VAT.
