First presented in March 2008 at the Geneva motor show, the
Smart ForTwo Special Edition Limited Two will arrive to the U.K. market on the first day of September. Soon available as a coupe and a cabrio, this highly limited edition
Smart will start as low as £9575 and £11,525 respectively.
The
Smart ForTwo Special Edition Limited Two is based on the
Smart ForTwo Passion trim and will feature a powerful (for such a tiny vehicle, of course) 71bhp engine capable of delivering up to 70.6mpg fuel economy in the highway cycle.
Inside the car, you will find cognac brown leather heated seats, a three-spoke leather steering wheel. The car's gearshift and gear knob are also clad in leather and the velour floor mats with leather trim. Not a word about the leather's quality, though.
The list of extra equipment is exhausted with a clock, a rev counter, electric power steering, a lockable glove compartment, and a
smart sound system.
On the outside, the car stands out from the tiny crowd with its chameleon-like special light blue metallic paint finish, a set of six-spoke 15-inch alloy wheels and lots of badges confirming that it is indeed a spec.ed.
Smart ForTwo and not some knock off.
