Kicherer tunes Mercedes-Benz C320 CDI 4Matic
Right after revealing its Evo tuning kit for the Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG super coupe, the German under-dog tuner Kicherer presented its tuning package for the Mercedes C320 CDI 4Matic station wagon.
Just as usual, the tuning kit features a new body kit and a decent power upgrade, the latter reached via an increased boost pressure, a reprogrammed ECU, and enhanced air supply. The vehicle's diesel engine's performance is increased from 224hp to 265hp and its torque is boosted by 90Nm to 600Nm. With all these, the C320's zero to 100km/h acceleration time is now 6.7 seconds and the top speed is limited at 270km/h.
The body kit includes new side moldings, a front apron, a diffuser-look apron at the rear, and a rear spoiler, all parts made of high-grade fiber-glass. The front-end grille has also received an electro-polished grille insert and a pair of double-headlight units with fog and driving lights.
Those not impressed with the C320's handling, may also order a set of lowered sport springs and 19-inch RS-1 light alloy wheels.
