This is the price for the basic 2007 Nissan Maxima 3.5 SE trim, which comes with a standard 255hp and 252 lb-ft of torque 3.5-liter DOHC V6 engine mated with sport-tuned Xtronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) with traction control system. More luxurious Nissan Maxima 3.5 SL will be available for $30,300.

The Maxima SL trim is more expensive because the car features standard xenon headlights, leather interior with wood, four-way power passenger seat, heated front seats, 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with H-rated P225/55R17 tires.

AutoSpies.com also says that both models of the new Maxima sport 'redesigned seats, new wood-tone trim (SL), new aluminum interior accents (SE) and Fine Vision gauges; improved exterior with a new grille, redesigned headlights, new front and rear bumpers, more aggressive side sills, more prominent rear spoiler (SE, SL optional); new wheel designs and new tailpipe finishers; standard Intelligent Key keyless entry system; and available Rear Sonar System (optional)'.

Both Nissan Maxima SE and SL models can be equipped with Bluetooth hands-free systems, satellite radio, auto-dimming mirrors and DVD-based navigation system with 7-inch color display.
