2009 Ford Fiesta Van to be revealed in Paris
Set to be revealed in October at the motor show in Paris, the new panelized 2009 Ford Fiesta Van will have to compete with the Peugeot 207 Van and the likes, offering low operational costs and absolutely zero problems with finding a suitable parking space.
Based on the 2009 Ford Fiesta, the micro-van will have its rear passenger windows replaced with full body panels and its rear seats will also be removed to provide extra cargo volume with a total of 1000 liters.
The tiny car will be powered by a choice of gasoline and diesel engines rated from 60hp to 90hp.
In Germany, the base model will be available at an affordable price of €11,070. Although the standard trim will be quite poor, the list of optional equipment includes an air conditioner, an electric package, fog lamps, and an entertainment system with radio, CD, MP3 and the V2C voice control system.
