2009 Ford Focus ST tuned by Mountune Performance
The British tuner Mountune Performance has partnered with Ford UK to bring a performance upgrade to the Ford Focus ST warmed-up hatchback. Available at a base price of £1120 (the cost of installation is not included), the tuning kit includes a larger intercooler, a high-flow air filter and new ECU.
With the kit properly installed, the ST's original 2.5-liter Duratec engine gets its performance increased from 225PS to more appealing 260PS and its torque is now peaking at 400Nm @ 2500rpm, an impressive 80Nm upgrade. Its zero to 60mph acceleration time is thus slashed by 0.6sec to 5.9 seconds and the 0-100mph time is also reduced by 1.9sec to 14.1 seconds.
The kit comes covered with 12 months/12,000-mile dealer warranty up to a maximum of three years/36,000 miles and does not affect the vehicle's original warranty.
