Porsche based RUF Cayman 3400K EV is in the works
German tuner RUF will reportedly soon reveal its first electric vehicle, which will compete against such players as the new Tesla Roadster and the British Lightning GT EV. Equipped with a 150kW (201hp) electric motor, the car will feature healthy 650Nm (479lb-ft) of torque and will reach the 100km/h mark in some four seconds.
Its top speed, which is limited at 200km/h, is not so impressive. Though you probably will not feel the lack thereof, since the car, with its 250 to 300 km range, is destined to travel within the Suburbia and city limits where the top speed is limited at 50km/h, anyway.
