2009 Ford Kuga will, too, get Individual Package
Trying to force its way into the lower premium segment, Ford Europe keeps introducing so called Individual Packages to its most popular models. First it was 2009 Ford Mondeo, S-Max, Galaxy and the 2009 Ford Fiesta, and now the company says that there will be an Individual Package for the 2009 Ford Kuga compact SUV.
Equipped with a fuel-sipping 136hp / 340Nm 2.0-liter Duratorq TDCi diesel engine, the SUV only consumes 5.3 liters of diesel fuel per 100km (which roughly converts to the 44.1 mpg US fuel economy rating). So, it's going to be quite a hit in the United States when it finally crosses the Pond.
To make the SUV even more desirable, Ford Europe is going to offer its future customers a lot of premium features currently available only to the proud owners of cars like Lexus, Mercedes and BMW. Among those, are new color schemes and premium quality materials like Nappa leather, contrasting textures and this sort of stuff. Actually, we've already reported about this a couple of weeks ago, but now we have a whole set of quality photos of the restyled Kuga dressed in the Individual Package. Enjoy.
