The long-awaited (at least, by some guys in the oil-reach countries) Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Roadster 722 S is basically the same
SLR Roadster featuring the
722 Edition and a canvas soft top folding roof.
Available starting January 1, 2009, the car will sport the standard for the series supercharged 5.5-liter V8 engine capable of delivering 650hp and 820Nm of torque, so that the car arrives to the 100km/h mark in just 3.7 seconds. Its top speed is rated at unhealthy 335 km/h.
Inside the
SLR 722 S you (well, probably not you, but that lucky guy in an oil-reach country) will find a two-zone automatic climate control, a BOSE Premium sound system, a multifunction sports steering wheel with shift paddles and a navigation system with an integrated radio and CD player.
Only 150 units of the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Roadster 722 S will ever be made.
