Litchfield Subaru Impreza STI Type 20 based on the 2008 JDM STI
The British Subaru tuning specialist Litchfield has just presented its new Type 20 tuning kit for the new Subaru Impreza STI pocket rocket. Equipping the original 2.0-liter EJ207 DVVT engine with the new Twin Scroll Turbo with Zircotec ceramic coating, the tuner has increased the engine's power output to impressive 400PS @ 7500 rpm and its torque now peaks at 375lb-ft (507Nm). No wonder the tuned car takes only 3.9 seconds to cross the 100km/h mark.
The list of other upgrades, Litchfield says in its press release, includes a reprogrammed ECU with enhanced mode Economy, a cold air induction system with high flow filter, a JDM STI 13.1 Steering Rack, and a Milltek 3 Exhaust System with 100-cell Hi Sports Flow Catalytic converter.
The list of visual enhancements includes an STI front lip spoiler, quad exhaust system, 18x8.5 lightweight Rota alloy wheels fitted with performance 245/40/18 Dunlop SP600 tires, red Maserati style tail light option and a revised STI front grill.
The Litchfield Subaru Impreza STI Type 20 is available to order at a price of £36,995 on the road.
