VW R32 to come to the U.S. market
Volkswagen has confirmed plans to ship a party of the warmed-up Golf R32 hatchbacks to the United States. The performance model, which is quite popular in Europe since its introduction there last fall, will appear in the U.S. this June as a 2008 model.

Setting the Mitsubishi Evolution IX and the Subaru WRX STI in its cross-hairs, the car will probably feature a 250hp / 236 lb.-ft. of torque 3.2-liter V6 engine and the 4Motion all-wheel-drive transmission with DSG dual-clutch gearbox.

Of course, it will also feature leather interior with aluminum trim, an automatic climate control and a ten-speaker premium audio system,

Nothing about the price, yet.
