VW R32 to come to the U.S. market
AutoWeek briefly reports that Volkswagen has confirmed its plans to ship a party of its 'hot' R32 hatchbacks to the United States. The performance variant of Golf, which is quite popular in Europe since its introduction there last fall, will appear in the U.S. this June as a 2008 model.



Autoblog speculates that the car will probably feature a 250 hp 3.2-liter V6 engine and the 4Motion all-wheel-drive transmission with DSG gearbox.
