2014 Rolls-Royce Wraith Targets the Bentley Continental GT?

Based on the current Rolls-Royce Coupe, the new 2014 Rolls-Royce Wraith offers the same shooting brake-style roof as the gorgeous Bentley Continental GT and even has its rear part clearly inspired by the archrival’s sporty grand-tourer. The price is very different, though. Unveiled this week during the international motor show in Geneva, Switzerland, the car will probably go on sale in Q3 at an estimated price of some €250,000: almost 1.5 times more expensive than the current Conti.

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible

Yesterday in Geneva, Switzerland, General Motors has officially pulled the wraps off its new and shiny 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible. Besides a huge V8 that uses less than 14 liters of gasoline per 100 kilometers in a combined cycle, the new convertible also features a “fully electronic top” that lets you open or close the roof remotely using the car’s key fob. Now, that’s nice.

2014 Porsche 911 GT3

Presented at the 2014 Geneva International Motor Show, the new 2014 Porsche 911 GT3 warmed-up grand tourer will be officially the first Porsche ever to offer an active rear wheel steering system that will dramatically increase the car’s maneuverability.

The turning rear wheels and the powerful 3.8-liter flat-six engine are responsible for the GT3′s outstanding performance on the famous Nurburgring Nordschleife race track. According to Porsche, the new car takes less than 7m30s to complete a lap, which puts it in the same league with such monsters as Pagani Zonda F Clubsport, 2010 Nissan GT-R and the red-hot 2008 Chevrolet Corvette C6 ZR1.

At the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, the legendary tuner Shelby American has revealed a souped-up version of the 2013 Ford Focus ST hot hatch. Although not offering anything groundbreaking in term of maximum power or acceleration time, the new 2013 Shelby Focus ST Limited Edition brings you a nice design package with custom interior and some other enhancements.

Traveling through Slovenian Alps, I accidentally met a car transporter carrying a number of heavily camouflaged vehicles. One of them looked very much like the upcoming 2014 BMW X5 luxury SUV. The photos don’t reveal much in terms of general styling, but there are a couple of photos that will give you the idea on the vehicle’s rear suspension and exhaust system.
