2007 Renault Clio Cup sports racer

Renault Sport Technologies has officially unveiled its new baby – the 2007 Renault Clio Cup racer based on the popular street legal hatchback.

The car is equipped with a stock normally-aspirated engine, that nevertheless features some minor enhancements, such as new engine management system, airbox and exhaust system, getting a power push up to 205 horsepower.

As one might expect, the new Clio Cup comes with racing seats, rollcage, digital dashboard and data acquisition system, as well as (sure) a six-speed sequential transmission with steering wheel-mounted gear shifter.

All-in-all, the Renault Clio Cup will cost you about $37,000.
