There were a lot of rumors about new 2008 Buick LaCrosse Super, partially based on the well-received 2004 Buick Velite convertible concept vehicle.
The new LaCrosse Super could be the first sedan in the line equipped with a V8 engine featuring about 300 hp.

Straightline has published a couple of spy photos of the upcoming sedan. Although these test mules do not show too much common blood with the aforementioned Buick Velite, they are the clear proof that the car will definitely will go into production in a year or so.
