2007 Dodge Nitro will start at $19,885
That will be the base price of the entry-level Dodge Nitro with a RWD drivetrain when it arrives in dealerships in October.
Dodge’s first mid-size SUV will be available in three trims: the Nitro SXT, SLT and range topping R/T.

The Dodge Nitro SXT and SLT will be powered by a 210 horsepower 3.7-liter V6 engine, while the R/T trim will sport the latest 4.0-liter V6, capable to reach 255 hp and a maximum 265 ft-lb (360 Nm) of torque.
The SXT with 4×4 drivetrain and a six-speed manual gearbox will set you back for $21,395.
The SLT trim is more expensive. Even the rear-wheel drive version (who needs an SUV with a rear drive, huh?) will cost $23,395, and a 4×4 will start at $24,805 level.
The list of standard equipment for those includes a four-speed automatic transmission.
The top-of-the-line Dodge Nitro R/T will cost $25,310 for the RWD and $26,990 for the 4×4.
