The limited-edition 2007 Ford Mustang Shelby GT muscle car will go into production in January 2007.

Only 4,000 to 10,000 of souped-up Mustangs will see the light.

The 2007 Ford Mustang Shelby GT will be equipped with 4.6-liter engine, featuring 325 horsepower, sitting in the middle between an ordinary Mustang GT and even more powerful Shelby GT500.

In fact, it will be a retail version of the famous rent-only Ford Mustang GT-H, made for Hertz company.

The vehicle will be assembled at Ford’s facilities and then transported to the Shelby Automobiles plant in Las Vegas for all due modifications.

Ford is expected to reveal more details about the Shelby GT this Sunday on its “Bold Moves: The Future of Ford” series.
