SIRIUS sat radio now standard in Mitsubishi cars

On Monday, satellite radio service operator Sirius XM Radio and the Japanese car manufacturing giant Mitsubishi have released a joint statement announcing a new partnership, which will let Sirius satellite radio receivers become standard equipment in all Mitsubishi cars starting from the 2007 model year.

The first bunch of cars that will be equipped with SIRIUS’ receivers are said to be the 2007 Mitsubishi Galant RALLIART sports car, Mitsubishi Endeavor SE sports utility vehicle, as well as the 2007 Mitsubishi Raider LS and DuroCross double cab pickup trucks.

Throughout the entire 2008 model year the satellite radio receivers will be available as standard equipment or factory option to all Mitsubishi’s models.

All SIRIUS-equipped vehicles will come to customers with a six-month pre-paid subscriptions.
