Audi S6 and S8 tuned by MTM

Audi S6 and Audi S8 vehicles have got a pair of tuning packages from the German tuner MTM.

The tuning programs consist of some engine modifications, suspension adjustments and new sets of 21-inch bespoke wheels.

Engine upgrade

First things first.

Both Audi S6 and S8 share the same 5.2-liter FSI V10 engine, which, due to some programming differences, delivers 15 hp more power for the S8 than for the S6. So, MTM ups S6 engine’s power output to more compelling 450 horsepower, at the same time healing S6 owners’ inferiority complex.

Electronic speed limit has also been pushed from the normal 250 km/h (155 mph) to more thrilling 300 km/h (186 mph).

Better suspension

New luxurious Audi’s are well-known for their hideous air suspension system, so MTM upgrades the S8 with its own individually controllable and it operating with speed-dependent compression and rebound settings air suspension.

The S6 is equipped with a new coilover Variant 3 system.

New wheels

MTM offers a set of new “Bimoto” nine-spoke wheels, available as a 10.5 x 21-inch version in “Polished Titanium” and “Shiny Silver”. The wheels are then mated to 285/30-21 tires.
