The 2007 Mercedes Benz CL-Class series of vehicles will soon receive a new appearance package from the German studio ART Tuning.

Called Program 216, the package will offer both interior and exterior upgrades to your precious CL.

The interior personalization program includes adding an alcantara roof liner and upholstery as well as “carbonized” surfaces. I guess, the latter means that they will simply cover the factory plastic with carbon-look film.

Of course, the “Program 216″ is not limited to visual upgrades.

It also includes a Vmax delimiter for the Mercedes-Benz CL-Class and electronic performance optimization of the vehicles’ V8 and V12 engines control.

ART Tuning’s custom electronic suspension system also lowers the CL’s ride by some 25 mm, suppressing the speed-dependent ride-height control but leaving other chassis control functions intact.

The CL-Class’s original exhaust system is substituted with the ART sports 80mm chrome-plated tailpipes with the ART logo.

There is also a nice choice of new monoART1 light-weight 6-spoke metal rims in dimensions 18, 19 or 20 inches, which may be ordered with titanium special coating –with either polished or silky-matt surface– or painted.
