German tuner Abt Sportsline has presented its recent take on the new 2007 Audi TT Typ 8J sports coupe. While many tuning specialists tend to limit their efforts on exterior plastic parts and interior “faux carbon” elements, this Kempten-based studio has prepared a comprehensive multi-stage tuning program that leaves almost nothing to be desired.
The tuning program features four engine upgrade packages and quite a mediocre aerodynamics body kit.
First three engine upgrade packages significantly boost the maximum power output of TT’s high-rev 2.0 Turbo FSI engine, taking it up to 240 hp, to 270 and to impressive 300 hp respectively.
The Abt Audi TT-Sport with the most powerful engine takes only 5.5 seconds to accelerate to 62 mph and features a top speed of 159 mph.
The vehicle may also be equipped with the supercharged VR6 3.2 engine, producing about 310 horsepower.
The TT’s aerodynamic kit is matched with 19- and 20-inch Abt Sportsline AR20 and SP1 rims fitted with tires sized 255/30 R20 and 255/35 R19.
