Citroen has unveiled its new flex-fuel Citroen C4 BioTech family hatchback during the European International Agricultural Show. With bio-fuel hysteria recently hitting the all-time high, the new C4 FFV will not only make our planet a little bit greener, but will also get the French car manufacturer a lot of (basically) free publicity.
The company claims that the Citroen C4 BioTech can run on any bio fuel rating between zero and 85 per cent ethanol, with the latter most commonly referred to as E85 fuel. In Brazil, Citroen vehicles with this powerplant account for 65 percent of all Citroen sales.
The C4 BioTech will be brought to French market in September this year. No info on price and standard equipment yet.
