GMC Acadia offers free valet parking
During the next two months more than 100,000 drivers in eight major cities of the United States will be offered free valet parking courtesy of the new 2007 GMC Acadia mid-size crossover SUV.
First introduced back in October 2006, the new car-based sports utility vehicle offers enough room to carry up to seven passengers and a driver. Although this is the first crossover SUV for the brand and the first front-wheel drive GMC for the last 35 years or so, I don’t really expect their prospective customers to run into serious problems with regard to the new design elements.

During the promotion, GMC will pay valet parking bills in popular shopping centers in Los Angeles, Miami/Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Phoenix, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco and Tampa to draw people’s attention to its latest Acadia crossover SUV. This is the first such a campaign run on the national level by a major car manufacturing company.
The campaign is being executed by Dallas-based AdverTickets media company specializing in outdoor advertising.
All-in-all, the agency plans to distribute more than 3 million full-color valet, both hand-issued and machine-issued parking tickets in promoting the launch of the vehicle at other locations, reaching GMC’s target market nationwide.
The campaign will be supported with AdverTickets’ Boom-Ads gate arm full-color advertising sleeves.
