Koenigsegg CCXR: the flower superpower
March 3rd, 2007
Contributing to the war on global warming, Koenigsegg has adapted one of its supercars to work on biofuel.
Its new Bio Fuel Powered Koenigsegg CCXR not only more environmentally friendly than its ordinary siblings, it is much more powerful too.

The Koenigsegg CCXR now features impressive 1018 horsepower reached at 7200 rpm and the torque of 1060 Nm peaking at 6100 rpm. That’s made possible thanks to ethanol’s side effect of cooling the combustion chambers and a higher octane value reaching 113.
The company promises that all Koenigsegg CCX models can be retrofitted to run on the E85 biofuel.
