Renault Megane L’Equipe special edition
The French L’Equipe sports daily magazine has offered its readers a special edition version of a popular in Europe Renault Megane family of cars.
Consisting of a long list of exclusive equipment, the limited package will be available for the sport sedan, coupe and a tourer models.

According to the company, the package includes exclusive upholstery, 16-inch aluminum five-spoke rims, fog lamps, leather-trimmed steering wheel and gear knob, an entertainment system with a radio and a CD player with MP3 playback.
As usual, there will also be a great number of spec. ed. decals featuring the L’Equipe logo.
The Megans are offered with either 1.4-liter 16-valve 100hp or 1.6-liter 110hp gasoline engines or with a 1.5 dCi oil-burner producing a maximum of 85 or 105 horsepower.
The 1.6-liter 16-valve powerplant is mated to either manual or automatic gearbox, the rest of engines come only with manual transmissions.
The equipment list includes an ABS plus Emergency Brake Assist, chilled and lit 17-liter glove box, driver and front passenger adaptive airbags, front and rear curtain airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchorage, three-point rear seatbelts with pre-tension safety mechanisms for outer seats and load limiters, trip computer, and this sort of thingies.
The Renault Megane L’Equipe is available with a total of ten body colors, including Pavot Red which is specific to this limited edition car.
Let me remind you that on European markets the new Megane competes with the Mitsubishi Lancer X, Mazda3, Hyundai Elantra and Ford Focus.
