The new Ferrari F430 Scuderia is a kind of a wet dream that suddenly gained substance. Well, at least it did so for the kind of people that not only has enough money to order one and keep it in good shape, but also possesses an adequate driving experience in order not to wrap the gorgeous car around the first lamppost.
The first of all, it is absolutely street-legal.
The second is that it is a real race car.
I mean, it is not just fast, it is actually built using the most up do date technologies coming directly from Formula 1!
The new Ferrari F430 Scuderia is equipped with a more powerful 4.3-liter V8 engine producing up to 510 hp @ 8500 rpm, which is 27 hp more than F430’s original motivator can make. The powerplant is mated to a new super-fast gearbox with a gearchange time of only 60 milliseconds.
And with its dry weight of only 1250 kg (which is about 100 kg less than the standard Ferrari F430) the new F430 Scuderia features stunning 1/2.45 power to weight ratio. No wonder that the car takes only four seconds to leap from zero to 100km/h.
The company plans to officially unveil its Ferrari F430 Scuderia on September 11, 2007 at the upcoming IAA Motor Show in Frankfurt with Michael Schumacher running the show.
