Although it is still a matter of weeks before the 2007 IAA motor show in Frankfurt will officially open its doors, some interesting shots start surfacing on the Web. This time it’s a first photo of the 2008 Audi A4 compact sedan.

Holding the title of the most popular choice among corporate buyers in Germany, the Audi A4 line is of even greater importance for the German brand than its above the €100K sports cars and limousines.

The 2008 Audi A4 will be 4.7 meters long and 1.83 meters wide. The base model will be motivated by a fuel-efficient yet powerful 160hp 1.8-liter TFSI engine with 3.2-liter 260hp V6 FSI, 2.0, 2.7 and 3.0-liter diesels also available soon after the model will go on sale.

Safety features include six standard airbags. That’s all we know at this time.
