Loremo L1 prototype to enter the Automotive X-Prize competition

Loremo L1 prototype will be presented in Frankfurt
German company Loremo AG plans to use the first actually driveable prototype of its much over-hyped Loremo LS super fuel-efficient car as an entry to the recently announced Automotive X-Prize competition.
It is reported that the Loremo L1 can go up to 400 kilometers (about 250 miles) on its 8-liter (2-gallon) tank of diesel fuel. It’s about 2 liters per 100 km (or 117 mpg), so the German engineers have a pretty much good chance of taking the multi-million dollar prize with them.
