Renault Clio Estate / Sport Tourer
During the upcoming motor show in Frankfurt, Renault will showcase its smallest wagon ever: the new 2008 Renault Clio Estate. Although the car is still too tiny for a young couple with a kid, the vehicle looks like an adequate choice as a second car for a family that already has a full-size sedan, but needs a smaller wagon to get a week’s supply of groceries from a local Auchan or Tesco.
Based on the current Renault Clio, the new Estate derivates from the company’s successful Clio Grand Tour concept vehicle we’ve already seen in the beginning of the year at Geneva.

The car will be sold in Europe as Renault Clio Estate and the U.K. customers will see it as Renault Clio Sport Tourer.
With its length of 4.2 meters and the luggage area of 439 liters, the car will have to compete against such well established rivals as the latest Peugeot 207 SW, the new Skoda Fabia Combi, Nissan Note and, perhaps, even the recently unveiled Mini Clubman.
Sources are reporting that together with the Clio Estate, Renault plans to unveil hatchback and wagon versions of its new Laguna and a pair of concept cars.
Price is yet to be unveiled.
