540hp Vauxhall VXR8 supercharger kit on offer

GM’s British subsidiary starts offering an official supercharger kit for the recently introduced Vauxhall VXR8 super-sedan.

Available in the United Kingdom starting next month, the kit will be offered as optional equipment and thus covered by the manufacturer’s three-year warranty.

Installed on the VXR8’s standard 6.0-liter V8 engine, the kit increases its maximum power output from impressive 450 hp to mind-blowing 540hp.

With such a source of power onboard, expect the original VXR8’s 4.9 seconds zero to 60 acceleration time to fall even closer to the 4 seconds mark.
