2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Estate tuned by Carlsson
Announced less than three months ago, the 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Estate entry-luxury station wagon has already received a tuning package from the revered AMG tuning house. Now it is Carlsson’s turn to do the job.
And it looks like the Merzig, Germany-based tuning specialist is eager to bring you an upgrade package that not only significantly enhances appearance of the new estate, but also makes it very fun to drive.
German Carlsson joins the fray with its extensive appearance and engine tuning packages considerably increasing the vehicle’s available power and providing it with a sportier looks.
With the help of their C-Tronic CD 22 and CD 32 chip-tuning modules, the diesel-powered Mercedes-Benz C220 CDI and C320 CDI get their max hp increased to 204 and 295 horsepower respectively.
The top of the range 3.5-liter V6 ends up with impressive 295 hp and 385 Nm courtesy of the “race-proven” Carlsson CK35 electronic control unit.
Outside, the cars may be equipped with new front and rear apron, side moldings, and a rear spoiler.
The picture is finished with a set of Brilliant Edition 19-inch single-piece, 11-spoke wheels fitted with 225/35 ZR19 Dunlop SP Sport Maxx tires on the front and 255/30 tires on the rear, electro-polished grille insert, and double-headlight units.
Inside the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Estate there may be installed Carlsson sports steering wheel in leather / Alcantara or leather / wood combination.
All these parts may be ordered separately or in a kit.
