Lotus Exige Sprint special edition: do you want one in gold?

The British Lotus Cars is planning to produce an exclusive version of its Lotus Exige Sprint super-exotic.

Limited to only 40 units, the cars will be available with the “iconic” Solar Yellow or Persian Blue color schemes accented with a rather thin gold stripe. Just like a pack of cigarettes.

Available at an impressive price of £42,550, the Lotus Exige Sprint is coming equipped with standard, ultra-lightweight forged alloy wheels, air conditioning, Sport Pack and Touring Pack.

Also standard, a Performance Pack provides the feather-light vehicle with a close to stunning 4.0 seconds of zero to 60 mph acceleration time. Fully loaded, the car gets at 100 mph in ten seconds and reaches a top speed of 146 mph.
