Citroen Berlingo Electric Vehicle: as green as it gets
PSA Peugeot Citroen in partnership with Venturi Automobiles will present their new Citroen Berlingo Electric Vehicle conversion program at the upcoming EVER 2008 show set to open in Monaco on the 27th of March.
Developed specifically for the EV tender of French postal service La Poste, the electric vehicle is based on either Citroen Berlingo First or Peugeot Partner Origin commercial vans.
Its range is limited to only 100 km per charge so it’s definitely not a competitor to such sport cars as Tesla Roadster EV or Lightning GT, but La Poste considers this more than enough to cover its average mail delivery route.
A total of 500 electric vehicles will be supplied.
