The next-generation 2008 Nissan Teana premium sedan was unveiled this weekend at the motor show in Beijing, China.
Set to arrive to dealerships by the end of the year, the luxury sedan will replace the 2004 Teana. It is still an opened question whether the car will also replace Teana’s sibling — the 2007 Nissan Maxima.

The car, Nissan says in its press release, will carry up to five adults and be equipped with either a 2.5-liter VQ25DE V6 engine or a more powerful 3.5-liter VQ35DE powerplant.
Chinese customers will also get a third option — the MR20DE engine, installed in the new Renault Clio and Nissan Qashqai / Rogue. All three mills will be mated to Nissan’s XTRONIC CVT gearbox.
No info on pricing yet.
