German tuner Edo Competition already offers a two-stage engine upgrade program for the fast and furious Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano ultra-luxury grand tourer. And, starting right now, the famous tuning studio introduces a modestly designed, but still very impressive looking aerodynamic package for the Italian supercar. Both extremely lightweight and well-designed, the new aero kit not only enhances the Italian stallion’s appearance, but also makes it a tad safer to drive at top speeds.
According to the tuning specialist, the aero-kit consists of a new front apron with a Formula 1-inspired front spoiler and huge air intakes, a pair of side skirts that allow cool air to even faster reach the red-hot disk brakes on rear wheels, and new 6-blade air diffuser for the rear bumper with four integrated tail-pipes.
All made of carbon-fiber, the kit not only increases downforce and improves the 599’s thermal balance, but also reduces the vehicle’s weight by some 50 kg (110 pounds).
Judging by the top picture, there is also a new set of multi-spoke alloy wheels with polished rims and matte black spokes with their design probably influenced by legendary sports cars from 1950s.
