Looks like the guys from the German studio GeigerCars.de are in love with big cars. I mean, it takes real love to make a tuning kit for a commercial vehicle, which is supposed to haul goods in a cost-efficient way. If it helps you pick up chicks on your way home, that’s fine. But make an actual tuning program for a 2008 Ford F650? OMG, you gotta be kidding me.
Well, known for its racing-style 2007 Hummer H2 GT performance SUV that actually blasts some European sports coupes on a track, the German tuning studio has revealed a tuning package for something larger: the huge and powerful (and pointless for any one, but your shrink, if you are not planning to actually work on it) Ford F650 truck.
According to their official press release, the 5.2-ton truck comes equipped with a 6.7-liters diesel engine capable of churning out 320 bhp and 737.6 lb-ft (999 Nm) of torque with all the power delivered to the rear wheels via a 6-speed Allison 3000 automatic. I don’t really believe that the car will be as fun to drive as a BMW M5 (or even as the 2007 Roush Nitemare Ford F-150, for Pete’s sake), but at least you will have your bragging rights perked up to all the way to the stratosphere if you decide to shell whole €99,000 for the toy.
Frankly, I can’t imagine why one would need such a beast if he or she doesn’t live in some Siberia.
