German tuner Arden has just revealed its new comprehensive personalization program for the 2008 Range Rover British luxury SUV. Although the body kit (actually the first thing that you see when your car comes back from the tuning studio) looks quite modest with only a few things like wider wheel arches, LED daytime running lights in the bumper and somewhat unusual exhaust tips on the back noticeable at the first glance, there are a lot of changes under the vehicle’s prominent hood and beyond its flashy light weight rims wrapped in low-profile rubber.
The gorgeous 2008 Range Rover AR7 Highlander, which is based on a 2008 year model, will soon be available sporting a nice body kit and a modified twin-screw supercharger that provides its huge V8 engine with extra power.
With the supercharger installed and displacement increased to 4.5 liters, the engine features 520 hp of power and 701 Nm of torque.
It is enough to propel the heavy SUV from zero to 100 km/h in only 6.5 seconds and bring it to an electronically limited speed of 240 km/h.
To provide the car with better braking power, Arden has equipped the AR7 Highlander with new braking system, 6-piston at the front and a 4-piston at the rear, working with the internally ventilated and perforated brake disks.
Of course, the Arden Range Rover AR7 Highlander tuning program comes equipped with a new body kit, consisting of 6 cm wider front apron with hand-made stainless steel grill and air vents, wheel arch extensions, side skirts and a rear apron also with grill inserts hiding new exhaust tail pipes of Arden’s hand-made stainless steel sport exhaust system.
The picture is finished with the “Sportline” set of three-part forged wheels in 22 and 23-inch sizes.
