Set to be officially unveiled this weekend at the National Mustang Show in Dublin, OH, the new Roush RTC Mustang package will feature a special red and black two-tone paint scheme. Well, of course, the new paint job is not the only think that Roush has in store for the new Mustang: there are more enhancements to the new version of the iconic car that not only enhances its appearance, but also improves handling of the beast.
According to the tuning specialist, the kit also includes a 4-piece body kit with an even more prominent, racing-style front bumper and a hood with a working scope, as well as upgraded suspension, lowered ground clearance, 20-inch forged and polished chrome wheels and numerous Roush plaques, banners and badges all over the car.
Inside the car, the kit adds embroidered floor mats, sporty pedals, new electro luminescent instruments cluster and, last but not least, new leather seating with comfy suede inserts.
The standard package comes at a more or less affordable price of $13,750 (I mean, if your heart is really devoted to customizing you can afford to shell out almost 14 grands to make your car look better, right?), but you’ll have to pay much more to get optional equipment.
For example, Chrome ROUSHcharger supercharger kit that increases the vehicle’s available power and torque to 430 hp and 400 lb-ft (542Nm) will set you back at $6250, while their Sport Brake Kit that features slotted rotors and painted calipers is currently available at $1450.
The rest of the list -like a short throw shifter at $445 or sexy interior dash trim kit with what they call “carbon fiber design” available at $350- is not that expensive, though.
